Each year, Resistol crafts an exclusive cowboy hat for Teton Ridge’s The American Rodeo as a symbol of their sponsorship since the rodeo’s inception 12 years ago. As the official hat of The American Rodeo, Resistol will proudly award this hat to the event champions—exclusively for this special achievement— as a congratulations for earning their big win at the legendary rodeo.

This highly coveted hat is reserved solely for the champions, making it a true badge of honor and an emblem of excellence.

The world’s richest weekend rodeo returns this year to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on April 11-12.

Founded in 2014 as the world’s richest one-day rodeo, The American Rodeo was originally held at AT&T Stadium until its transition to Globe Life Field in 2023, following a three-year venue partnership agreement. The growth of The American Rodeo is attributed to Teton Ridge’s acquisition in 2021.

Since 2024, this event has been televised on Fox, bringing rodeo to a wider mainstream audience. This year, the world’s top rodeo athletes will compete for over $3 million in prize money. Friday night will see 15 athletes across eight events battling for their chance to advance to Saturday’s finals. On championship night, the top five athletes will vie for a shot at a $1 million bonus.

This year’s handcrafted masterpiece exudes both luxury and championship prestige. The beautiful buckskin-colored hat will feature the Teton Ridge’s The American Rodeo signature “A” logo on the buckle set, while the same iconic “A” will be the focal point inside the crown on the liner. The American Rodeo’s iconic black and gold colors will line the inside of the hat, complete with the American Rodeo Champion foil stamp recognizing this prestigious achievement.

The Resistol cowboy hat is beautifully handcrafted right here in America. With over 200 skilled hands involved in its process, each hat represents Resistol’s commitment to quality and tradition.

Adding to its exclusivity, the championship hat includes a three-piece buckle set made by Vogt Silversmiths with the American Rodeo logo.
