2025 PRCA and WPRA World Champions Visit White House

Resistol Presents President Trump With Historic “1776” Hat.

For the first time since 1983, the White House welcomed the 2025 World Champions of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) to Washington, D.C., recognizing their accomplishments in professional rodeo. During the visit, Resistol presented President Donald Trump, the 45th and 47th President of the United States, with a symbol of patriotic pride and Western heritage: the Resistol 1776 hat.

Since the inception of the PRCA, Resistol has stood alongside the organization as its official hat, tipping its brim to the patriotic legacy of the sport and its world champions.

A symbol of the West and its values, the Resistol 1776 was presented to President Trump, by Resistol owner Dustin Noblitt, on Friday afternoon, March 13, 2026, at the nation’s capital.

“President Trump is the John Wayne of our Generation! Cowboy code of ethics through and through,” reflected Noblitt.

President Donald Trump joins the ranks of U.S. presidents who have received a Resistol hat, including Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson and Ronald Reagan.

“Resistol is proud to be a longtime partner of the PRCA and to take part in this historic recognition of rodeo’s world champions,” said Resistol President Devin Marcum. “As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, the cowboy hat continues to represent the resilience, patriotism and Western values that define the sport and the industry.”

Among the athletes honored during the visit was 10-time PRCA World Champion, and the 2025 World Champion Bull Rider and All-Around Cowboy, and proud Resistol team member Stetson Wright.

Also representing Team Resistol at the White House were World Champion Steer Wrestler Tucker Allen, World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Statler Wright, World Champion Steer Roper Cole Patterson and World Champion Breakaway Roper Taylor Munsell.

For the first time in 43 years, rodeo returned to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., bringing the Western industry to the forefront of a global stage, while showcasing the talent and achievements of the sport’s top athletes.

As Resistol approaches its 100th anniversary, the brand proudly continues its partnership with the PRCA, a relationship that began in 1959. From the bright lights of the Thomas & Mack Center to the prestigious White House, Resistol welcomes the sight of cowboy hats on every stage.
