The Resistol Rookies of the Year award represents the hard work, resilience and grit of these rodeo athletes in their first official year as Professional Cowboys Rodeo Association (PRCA) cardholders. With only one chance to win this lifetime achievement, their names will be etched in rodeo history. Resistol is honored to recognize these athletes in arguably the toughest year of their career.

For the first time ever, the All-Around Resistol Rookie of the Year title will be in contention at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR), and six rookies will be competing for both the rookie and world champion titles.
