Generations of employees clock in each day at the Garland factory, bringing skilled hands, a commitment to craftsmanship and a shared sense of pride to the production floor. Together, they play a vital role in creating the thousands of hats handcrafted daily inside the North Texas facility.

Using original hat-shaping machinery that dates back to the mid-19th century, more than 200 hands touch each hat before it is ready for wearers around the world. Many of those hands belong to multi-generational families whose histories are deeply intertwined with Resistol’s. More than 10 percent of the workforce has been part of the company for over 40 years, reflecting generations of hardworking families who have built their livelihoods beneath the brim of a cowboy hat. 

For generations, craftsmen and women have called Garland and Resistol home, shaping each hat by hand and adding another chapter to the company's story with every step of the process.
